National Art Gallery Film Photoblog

I've never been to the Louvre, nor Paris though I constantly dream of myself munching on baguettes and pouring coffee down my throat at those quaint little cafe by the cobblestone sidewalks. With that said I really haven't got the chance to visit this City of Love let alone set my eyes on Mona Lisa.
However, there was a Leonardo da Vinci exhibition going on in Kuala Lumpur that displayed 17 of his works, including the Mona Lisa. Though it wasn't the original piece that was displayed, the versions at the exhibition were scaled to the original sizing using augmented reality. I had a great time at the National Art Gallery imagining I was looking at the actual paintings by Leonardo da Vinci.
By the way, there wasn't only the Leonardo da Vinci: Opera Omnia exhibition going on, there were other very interesting (and creepy) displays as well. Funny enough, I took photos of every other thing except for the ultimate one, Mona Lisa, which really bummed me out because that was the whole point of the exhibition right? But it's okay, maybe I'm destined to see her again in her real form at the Louvre.
I brought along my Canon AE-1 geared up with a roll of Agfa Vista 200. However, my indoor film photography skills seriously needed more improvement because my photos (scroll below and you'll understand) came out underexposed. I admit that because I don't use my Canon AE-1 a lot, I still have a hard time figuring how to work it out without a light meter. But I will stay positive and think that my underexposed settings help create the unintentional creepiness of all the photos I took at the National Art Gallery. Scroll down for some scare (still staying positive):
