Monthly Journal: November 2017
November 30, 2017
November has ended and as much as it was supposed to be a quiet month for me, it turned out to be much more eventful than expected. The first weekend was my monthly visit to Bang Bang Geng (need to buy food for my cameras) which was also World Vegan Day there. That was also one of the reasons why I went to Publika that week. However, the Halloween party for kids was so much more interesting and it was hosted by Valak, like how cool is that.
On the Friday night of the second week, it was the night that my colleagues planned to go for some party time at PLAY Club. I would say it was fun despite having some dramatic moments going on after party time. I would also say that my colleagues are a fun bunch but we shouldn't be doing this too often because it's quite tiring especially when one of us plans to make things difficult and not to mention the hangover!
Two weeks after that, due to last minute decisions, I was to attend It's The Ship 2017. Though reluctant at first but it wasn't too bad of an experience. You can read more about it HERE. My favourite act has got to be 88Rising's Higher Brothers who are also the only act I knew throughout the 4 days and 3 nights there hahahaha and did I mention that the Genting Dream Cruise is such a beautiful ship! Get all the fun details at my It's The Ship 2017 blog post.
Right after It's The Ship 2017 was the Stoned & Co. F/W17 Descendant Collection Preview which we had been preparing for months. It was also my first time using a Kodak Portra 800 indoors and was really happy that most of the shots were not underexposed. The event was our first ever day-time event and it was nerve-wrecking at some parts but we managed to pull it off! Read more about the event HERE.
The last event for the month was at August Man's Men of The Year where I was there to cheer on my boss as he takes his spot with the rest. Got to make new friends that night and met and old friend too. Missed Tiffin's preview for this and I regret it big time now since the event was cancelled.
And there goes November and moving on to December, the very last month of 2017. A part of me wants to stop time but another part of me wants to move forward to 2018. I'm not ready to be 25 next year yet can't wait for the adventures of the coming year. Let's hope the last month of December will be good so that I can embrace 2018 with a bang!
